Booking, Cancellation and Rescheduling

Q: How do I purchase tickets for the watchmaking workshop? Tickets for all our upcoming workshop dates are available for purchase exclusively through our company website.

Q: What is your cancellation and refund policy? Our cancellation policy is tied to the event date: •Cancellation more than ten (10) calendar days before the scheduled event date: You are entitled to a full refund of the ticket price (excluding any applicable processing fees). •Cancellation ten (10) calendar days or less before the event date: No refund will be provided. The Company retains the entire ticket price due to guaranteed logistical and material commitments.

Q: Can I reschedule my ticket if I have to cancel last-minute (less than 10 days)? Yes. If you cancel within the ten days window, you are not eligible for a refund, but you may contact us to reschedule your attendance to another available Workshop date. Rescheduling is subject to future date availability.

Q: How do I cancel or reschedule my ticket? We understand that plans can change! If you’d like to cancel your ticket or move it to another available date, just send us an email at hello@theclockworkstudio.com along with your booking details, and we’ll be happy to assist you.

Q: What happens if The Clockwork Studio has to cancel a workshop? Should we be forced to cancel or reschedule a Workshop due to unforeseen circumstances (such as instructor illness or venue unavailability), all affected participants will be offered the choice of a full refund or rescheduling to an alternative date.

The Workshop and Components

Q: How long is the workshop, and what type of watch will I build? The event is a three (3) hour long workshop. You will be building a mechanical watch using the reliable, automatic NH35 movement.

Q: What is the typical schedule of the workshop? The three hours are structured as follows: 1.Introduction (First 15 mins): A quick introduction to watch movements, their components, and essential safety procedures. 2.Selection (30 mins): You select your preferred components (case type, dial type, hands type, and strap or bracelet type) from our wide catalogue. 3.Guided Assembly (2 Hours): The instructor provides a step-by-step session guiding you through the assembly of your chosen components. 4.Completion: You take the fully assembled watch home with you.

Q: What customization options do I have for the watch? Your ticket includes a complete Watch Kit, and during the selection phase, you can choose from various styles of: •Case type •Dial type •Hands type •Strap or bracelet type The first set of components for the watch is included in your ticket price.

Q: Will I be disassembling and assembling the NH35 movement itself? No. The NH35 movement is a delicate and complex component that is provided fully assembled. Your workshop is focused on assembling the external components (case, dial, hands, strap) around the movement. However, the first 15 minutes of the workshop include an introduction where the basics of watch movements and their components will be taught.

Tools, Purchases and Safety

Q: Do I need to bring my own tools? No. All necessary specialized assembly tools required for the construction of your watch will be provided for your use during the workshop.

Q: Can I take the tools home with me? The tools provided during the session must remain at the workshop. However, the specialized tools, as well as additional watch components (e.g., extra cases, dials, straps), are available for purchase separately at the venue.

Q: Is there a minimum age requirement to attend? Participation is open to individuals aged 18 or older. Participants aged 13 or older may attend if accompanied by a paying adult or guardian who assumes full legal responsibility.
